Maxine Eiland

Founder & CEO

Maxine is the founder of Divine Mama Strength and a women’s strength coach devoted to helping women feel strong, seen, and supported in every season of life.

After navigating her own journey through motherhood, she built Divine Mama to be more than a gym—it’s a space where women can reconnect to their bodies, rebuild their strength, and feel held in the process.

Her approach combines strength training, breathwork, and intentional movement to support women from pregnancy through postpartum and beyond.

Maxine is certified in BirthFit, CrossFit L1, Yoga L1, Menopause, and Nutrition, and is always continuing her education to provide women with the highest level of support, care, and rehabilitation.

When she’s not in the studio, she’s running after her two toddlers, lifting heavy things, and probably eating pickles.

Sarah Kosan

Women's Strength Coach

Sarah is a women’s strength coach who’s all about helping you feel strong, capable, and at home in your body—for the long haul. She’s passionate about building sustainable strength that supports you through every season of life, from your first lift to your strongest years yet.

Her coaching style blends functional strength with a whole lot of encouragement, meeting you where you are and cheering you on every step of the way.

 

When she’s not in the gym, you can find her hiking, rock climbing, or hanging out with her cats (who definitely run the house). Fun fact: she can curl her tongue upside down—which is honestly just as impressive as her pull-ups.

Kristina Waltrip

Intention Coach

Kristina leads the Divine Mama Intention arm of the team. Her mission is to support women emotionally and energetically — creating space for connection, reflection, and growth.

Rachel McTavish

Operations & Community Manager

Rachel wears many hats—most importantly, she’s a new mom. Her background is pretty diverse, spanning roles as a professional archaeologist, college professor, and data scientist. These days, she’s especially passionate about being the “behind-the-scenes hype person” who lifts others up—including our moms & moms to be.

 

Supporting others is where Rachel truly shines. Whether she’s your cheerleader on the sidelines, crafting an encouraging message, or simply offering a listening ear, she brings genuine care and energy. After a 2.5-year IVF journey, she also brings deep empathy and understanding of the many paths to building a family, and is committed to meeting people exactly where they are.

 

Outside of work, Rachel has an athletic background that includes backpacking, marathons, trail racing (including Pikes Peak), yoga, and powerlifting. She’s currently considering her first “big” postpartum goal—so feel free to share any ideas or inspiration when you see her!

Ivy Mueller

Accounts & Billing Manager

Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Ivy has called Austin home for 7 years and is a mom to two young daughters (2 and 4). With 10 years of experience as a registered nurse in women’s health, along with a background in accounting and retail management, she brings both care and organization to her role. She’s deeply passionate about creating honest awareness around the beauty and challenges of postpartum.

After her second daughter was born, Ivy began training with Maxine and quickly found a love for strength training and CrossFit, which she’s been dedicated to for the past two years.

 

When she’s not in mom mode or nurse mode you can find her at the gym or doing something outdoors, sewing, antique and thrift store shopping, enjoying a cold IPA, or binging true crime shows and podcasts.

 

She’s excited to be part of the DMS community and to help others feel supported as they begin or continue their own strength journey.
